HCA Latin America Workshop, Chile, 23-27 October 2023

The 2023 HCA Latin America in-person Computational and Experimental Design Workshop was held at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, on 23-27 October.
This first in-person HCA training in Latin America had separate tracks for computational and experimental researchers and welcomed 40 participants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
The training was designed to empower the attendees, expand the local capacity for single cell work and strengthen the HCA Latin America community. As part of the training, the participants shared research ideas, learning from each other and creating potential collaborations. Further workshops are being planned.
